ICDR’s Research and Policy Division works in collaboration with lawmakers, the judiciary, academic institutions, bar associations, civil society organizations, and international partners. Its outputs include policy briefs, white papers, legal reform proposals, and academic research aimed at strengthening ADR mechanisms and their integration within the formal justice system.
The Centre also conducts research on emerging developments in dispute resolution, including technology-enabled processes and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR). Through comparative legal studies and analysis of formal and traditional dispute resolution mechanisms, ICDR contributes to informed policymaking and the development of practical, scalable, and context-appropriate ADR models
